The Show Must Go On

About 6 years ago I bought my first house.  I remember being so excited to get into a space I could call my own.  My now husband went with me because I knew we’d be together.  He helped me pick out the house that would be our home.  To say this house has become part of our family is an understatement.  We have both put blood, sweat and tears into making this house a home.  I love it and all it’s quirks.  That’s why I actually shed some tears as I watched the realtor put the sign in our front yard yesterday.  “Coming Soon” (Officially for sale at the end of the month).
We need more space.  Now that we have a dog, baby and the two of us, we’re squeezed.  So as much as I hate to admit it, it’s time to move on.  I can only hope that this house goes to owners that will appreciate all that we’ve done and love it as much as we have.
Just in case you don’t believe that I finished that 1/2 (not sure why you wouldn’t), that’s me in the white t-shirt.  Yep, pretty dorky.

i know exactly where you are coming from with with your house.
i bought this condo in 2006 and Will and I have put so much work into it. it’s a 1 bedroom, it’s WAY too small but it’s our home and it’s hard to leave. good luck, hope it sells quickly!
