Sometimes we need a little reminder about what makes us “Fitness Bloggers” so I’vebeen thinking about and had some friends think about it and we came up with a list of ways you know you are a fitness blogger. If you can answer yes to any of these, you are probably a fitness blogger.
You can play along too! My Friend and yours – PavementRunner has proposed a hashtag so you can add yours!
All you have to do is post yours with the hashtag #YouMightBeAFitnessBlogger
So here we go!
I don’t know about you but I totally get it. Weather your taking pictures of yourself or treadmill or your watch, people always wonder, just a little what you’re doing.
If you have just as many pictures of what you ate as you do pictures of you in Fitgear. Thanks PavementRunner! I’m betting many of you are smiling about now because you’re probably about to take a picture of your breakfast and that’s ok because the rest of us love to see it! Some of us are jealous and some of us are just plain hungry now. Thanks!
If you only leave twitter to go workout. Alexandra Williams gave us this gem and she couldn’t be more right! Although sometimes I don’t even let a workout stop me. Depending on what I’m doing, I take my twitter friends with me! Doesn’t everyone?!
If your blender bottles take up half your dishwasher. I’m going to take this a step further and add water bottles. Between my sons and mine, we go through at least 4 bottles a week. Courtney Norman aka CourtNorm provided this one.
It’s so true! I’m sure I’ve seen a picture or two on Instagram of full dishwasher. Hilarious.
If your family doesn’t bat an eye when you take a picture mid-sentence or activity. We get to thank MizFit for this one and it’s so true. I’m constantly taking pictures of E as he’s mid bit of broccoli. I just assume you all think he’s as cute as I do. (Humor me!).
If you don’t see anything wrong with updating your status mid race. So thanks Annica! I can personally attest to this. She and I (and Madeline) ran the Go! St. Louis Marathon together and I might have posted a couple small youTube videos in the process.
If all your tweets are followed by any or all of the following hashtags: #Runchat #Fitblog #FitFluential #SweatPink #Mamavation #DontShitMyPants (You’re welcome Jess) or any of other numerous fitness related hashtags. This is my contribution to the list and I think it’s appropriate.
If you have participated in more virtual challenges/runs than real ones: We fitness people love our challenges, goals and runs. We love to support causes and help each other. How many have you done?
Ok, so there you have it! How did you do? Did you meet any of our criteria? I’m betting you probably did. 🙂
So let’s play our game! Add your “You Might Be A Fitness Blogger” and then tweet it and lets share with the hashtag #YouMightBeAFitnessBlogger.
