Can we talk about the word “Beauty” for just a minute? I don’t know about you but I’ve gotten to a point in my life where beauty isn’t necessarily defined by what’s on the outside. It’s about the person you are and the characteristics that make you unique.
One of the characteristics I feel is important is drive, determination, motivation whatever you want to call it, it’s your desire to push yourself to find out who you really are and what you’re capable of.
Under Armour and I are on the same page with this and have teamed up to help redefine beauty through the What’s Beautiful Campaign.
I agree. Beauty is so much more than the superficial definition of it. Good luck with the pushups! Sounds intense!
Thanks!!
Love your definition of beauty and totally agree. I love this whole UA campaign. It’s pretty empowering. And OMG little A sleepy on your shoulder! Too much.
you go girl! you’ll have to post video of your one handed push ups once complete!!
Awesome goal! I can barely do 5 two handed pushups 🙂
I SO AGREE beauty is strength.
A one-handed push-up is a perfect goal for a mom — you’ve always got something in the other hand. 😉 It’s not quite one-handed, but I was surprised when I could do the last push-up progression of Jillian’s 30 Day Shred.
Love your definition of beauty! As a mother to two beautiful girls, I want them to grow up truly believing that beauty lies within. Of course, I think my girls are the most adorable children on the planet, but as their little personalities develop, I really see their beauty shining from the inside out. And when I start getting down on myself or having negative thoughts, I just look at my girls and instantly feel more beautiful because they are a reflection of the very best of me.
You’re so adorable and love your vlog! Beauty, to me, is the ability to motivate someone else to be beautiful inside and out!
I loved this video and your definition. So spot on.
And you and the little one are a beautiful picture together!
I love your thoughts on beauty and I agree so much. That is one of the reasons I love the What’s Beautiful campaign. It is so much more that what is on the outside. I can’t wait to see you bang out those push ups!
Great job! Beauty IS strength. As a mother of a daughter, I love seeing beauty redefined.
Good luck with the push ups I tried it after I watched the video and only just got 1 out each side, it’s tough!
Hey Katie! Quick question. DO you use a youtube plug in so your videos show up on your blog? I just switched to self-hosted and I’m so lost!!
