I haven’t linked up to Katie over at HealthyDivaEats before but after a weekend where there were just lots of different emotions, I figured it would be a good idea to start the week off Marvelously.
So here’s a quick run down of everything that was marvelous about the weekend and that will keep me smiling right through Monday.
1. This face: I’m pretty much infatuated with this face. It hurts every time I leave her.
2. Soccer Practice: (that’s E waaaay over on the left). This is the first class E has been in where Mom and Dad don’t go out on the field. It wasn’t a perfect class but in the end he did play without Mom, which made me a little sad but happy at the same time.
3. Sweat: I had one of those brilliant runs this weekend where you feel like you could run for days. It was awesome. Then my run on Sunday was no good but you can’t win them all I guess.
4. Old Friends: In a previous life (a.k.a. 4 years ago), I was a business consultant that traveled to Pittsburgh every week (for about 2 years). These two were my travel buddies. Same 6:15a.m. flight, same client, same hotel, etc.. I was so lucky to be able to spend time with them. ALMOST makes me miss life on the road…almost.
Ok, so that was my weekend..full of memories that will make my Monday Marvelous!
How was your weekend? What was marvelous for you?
I had a pretty marvelous weekend too! Running, Fall fun, and enjoying life!
the weekend ROCKED.
I had been dreading because it was sooo busy—but it was restorative FAMILY busy.
agreed marvelous monday is a fantastic way to get thinking about the right things!
How nice that you got to catch up w/ your old travel buddies! We should all make time for that kind of thing. Excellent that your little guy is taking big steps on his own, even thought it’s a bit hard for mama!
Awe sounds pretty fantastic!
