My Monday, and probably yours too, will be filled with reading the amazing race recaps of so many fabulous runners that accomplished their goals on Sunday.
Writing the race recap sort of puts closure to what has most likely been months and months of training for a runner.
It symbolizes and documents the end result of all their hard work. For those that write race recaps, it helps you immortalize the feeling and sense of accomplishment, while also reliving some of the pain.
There was a time when I thought no one really wanted to read a race recap but that feeling has since changed. They are great for finding motivation and inspiration in the achievements of others.
So while I didn’t get to write one today, choosing instead to error on the side of responsibility. I know so many of you have so here’s your chance to share your accomplishments. Link up your race recap!
And let me be the first to say Congrats…Good Work…. I can’t wait to read all about it!
This is an awesome idea! Thank you!
The course was hillier than I remembered and really challenging as a result but I was able to power through. I just finished my recap:

Nice job turning this into a positive for you. Sorry you are on the injured list…but hey, more time to blog 🙂
Such a great idea! Hope you are running again soon! Hope you don’t mind me sharing my recap from last weekend 🙂

Thanks for the chance to link up! 🙂
No link yet, but I ran the St Louis RnR (my first official 1/2 Marathon). I’ve been running now for about 14 months and have been training for STL for the last 5 months. I completed the course in 1:52:25. It felt really great. The race was well marked, the staff was friendly and helpful and it was just everything I had hoped it would be.
As for me I lost 40 pounds in 1.5 year. Healthy lifestyle is my way now! Cardio exercises really help me! Running is the best cardio!
