The spring weather is coming! I can smell it. That means we MIGHT be able to put the cover on the treadmill and rediscover the trails, sidewalks or streets. Believe it or not, St. Louis is FULL of active people. We love to run, bike, climb..you name it we do it. So that’s why I’m excited to let you in on a few things to get you moving in St. Louis in the coming months.
1. Celebrate Fitness
March 8th, Washington University Gym/Track, Race starts at 7:30 am, all other events start at 8:30 am. Register now!
You knew I had to start with this. Not only because this is MY event but because it’s coming up in two weeks and I want to see you all there. Celebrate Fitness is an event that benefits research and education programs at Siteman Cancer Center. Participants chose from six different events: Yoga, Bootcamp, Zumba, 10K, 5K or Water Aerobics. For $30, each participant will get to workout the way they want and will walk away with either a coveted goody bag or race shirt. Come see me and get a great workout!
2. Fight for Air Climb
March 22nd, Metropolitan Square, Climb starts at 8 am. Register now!
I have yet to do this event but I love the idea of it. Basically you climb the tallest building in St. Louis, the Metropolitan Building (all 40 floors).
3. Undy 5000
March 29th, Forest Park, Upper Muny Parking Lot, Race starts at 9 am. Register now!
Because who doesn’t love running with other runners in their underwear!
