Do you believe…

that everything happens for a reason?

I always have or at least I have always told myself when something doesn’t necessarily go my way.

That’s exactly what happened a few months ago.  I was being considered for something HUGE, something I was really excited about and wanted quite a bit but in the end, it just didn’t happen for me.  I was bummed for a little while.  I have felt so close lately to getting a few different opportunities only to have them not work out but it’s fine.  It really is.  I have always told myself that things happen for a reason and this particular event was no different.

Once I heard that I wasn’t chosen, I had to let it roll off my back.  I have too much else going on to let it get me down and some where, deep down, I knew there must be a reason.

I found out this weekend.  Had it worked out, I would’ve been out of town this weekend which would’ve meant I would have missed out on two things that I REALLY needed to be here for.

The first being Celebrate Fitness, which I have been planning for a year and the second is something not so celebratory that I was very grateful to have been home for.

As I sit here and just think about how it all went down and the timing of everything, I am convinced that I was meant to be here this weekend.  Is that weird?

Do you think everything happens for a reason?

LOVE!!! I also believe this – that things good and bad are meant to shape your life and your journey. You are always right where you need to be!

No not at all weird! I think everything happens for a reason, for the most part and when it all comes around you see why. Opportunities come around so much that missing something one year may just mean better things will be happening instead. You can always try again. Love this!

Yep, I too believe everything works out in its own special way and in it’s own time.

Yes! Absolutely everything! When something happens that isn’t so great, I find myself trying to figure out the why or the what associated with it. I know I’ll figure it out eventually, and sometimes it changes with more time.

Your big thing will happen, and when it does, it will be better than you expect!

Definitely. Plus, it’s a much more positive way to view the good and the bad that come your way… helps us keep things in perspective and know there is always more than our view of it in that moment.

I definitely think everything happens for a reason! It’s always one of those ‘a-ha!’ moments when you find out a reason for something not working out. I have no doubt your big thing when it happens will be perfect for you and at the right time!
