Hello Hello!  I’m in the homestretch of two weeks of travel.  This time I’m in Northern California floating around with my sisters and mom celebrating her retirement.  We spent the first night in the city where I got to do something I’ve been really excited to do.

I worked out with the November Project but I didn’t do it alone.  I had an amazing host.  Pavement Runner.  We met up early and ran to Coit Tower to meet up with the rest of the group.  We talked about our families, our blogs and our lives.  Conversation came easy and before I knew it, we were there!

The group is just as awesome as you’ve read.  They all welcomed me with hugs and conversation.  We warmed up and then headed down the hill to the steps.  I really had no idea what was about to go down but I was up for anything.

Pavement Runner led the way down one flight and the next..then the next and then about 6 more.  These steps went on forever!  We talked and stepped, high-fiving everyone that we passed.  Seriously, this group couldn’t have made me feel more at home sweating up a storm.

I wish I could describe these steps in a way that would do them justice but there is no possible way I could string together the words so picture this…

Pavey and I decided to do one more round of steps and in the process missed the group shot…bummed as we were, we headed to have some coffee with the group and again, I can’t tell you how nice they all were. They even redid the group photo so I could be in it!

Four miles, one cup of coffee and more steps than I can count, Pavey and I ran back to my hotel and parted ways (temporarily).  I’ve had a few opportunities to meet fellow bloggers and in every situation, I can honestly say they have become friends and this is no different.  Pavement Runner is just as cool as you would think and I’m looking forward to running Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago with him!  That’s right, register now and run with us (use code “MOMSLRBCHI” for $10)

One more day of wining and hiking!  More amazing pictures from our amazing trip coming soon but if you want a sneak peak, follow me on Instagram! Instagram Account
