Get Fit with Asics: GEL-Fit Sana Review

December 30, 2014 4 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’ll admit, when it comes to going to the gym, I usually just grab whatever shoe is close and head out the door.  Most of the time it was a running shoe because, let’s be honest, that’s all I had until ASICS sent me the GEL-Fit Sana as part of the FitFluential Campaign.

I’ve worn them to the gym on days when I just strictly cross train, no running.  Now, I’m starting to realize why a shoe like this exists.  Asics Gel Fit SanaIt doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing a shoe till you need it to grip or support you in some way.  The thing I found most attractive about it is its flexibility.  You can stretch your toes in these shoes.  It will literally take on any stretch and not impact the effectiveness because of lack of flexibility.  I imagine yogis are gonna love this shoe!

Asics GEL Fit SanaSo now I’ve worked it into my regular shoe rotation and am happy that they are there.  They will compliment the group and give my running shoes a little break from non-running activities.  You will probably also see me wearing them to the grocery store, mall, and just about everywhere else I want to be comfortable!

I recently started with an outdoor boot camp and looking for a shoe. I wonder if this one would work.

They might be but depending on what you’re doing in bootcamp, you might need something with a little more support.
