How’s your week going? All you on the East Coast…are you hanging in there? I am loving watching the pictures on Instagram. Have fun but stay safe. I was supposed to be out there right now doing a whirlwind business trip from Boston to Philadelphia and back but last week I decided that I had enough travel and cancelled it. I’m SOO glad I did.
Turns out it was a pretty good decision because not only the weather but Mini E turned out to be sick with a double ear infection. I’m so glad I was here to cuddle and give lots of momma hugs.
Yesterday turned into a rest day so that I could cuddle but Scott and I did manage to trade off so we could get quick workouts in. I stuck with my preplanned treadmill run and it felt so good. I even feel like I’m increasing my treadmill tolerance. I have been trying focus on speed at least once a week. It’s frustrating that speed is one of those things that if I don’t keep on it, I lose it and I really want to see 7:XX min/miles over and over again. This seems to be a good workout for me. Maybe you’ll like it too.
Now that we’re on anti-biotics, I’m hoping MiniE is on the mend. I love this cuddle time but I hate that she’s not feeling good. Tomorrow I have a four mile run scheduled. I have yet to be successful at getting up and workout out to work. I’m still optimistic I’ll be able to drag myself out of bed at least one morning this week. Maybe I need to take the cozy flannel sheets off the bed. They are just so comfy…
I’m still sort of thinking of doing the Nippy Niner Trail Run on Sunday. I have such a hard time registering for races ahead of time…I’m so non-committal.
Don’t forget to check Monday’s post to see who the Wednesday winner is. There is still time to enter..3 more days of sock giveaways!
Whoa! Pinned this workout for later. Hope Mini E is feeling better soon!
Hope your daughter is feeling better. Great treadmill routine for those days when you just can’t get out there.
Thanks Deborah!
Looks like a great workout! I’m so glad you didn’t get stuck in the snowstorm and were able to get some good cuddles in with your little girl.
Thanks Angie!
hope your daughter feels better soon! we got basically no snow here in dc. this winter has not given us lots of the white stuff!
Thanks Courtney
Looks like a great workout. I like to mix up the speed & incline to make for a more interesting treadmill run.
It definitely does!
Our snowstorm was a BUST! MAYBE 5 inches, which in Vermont is nothing to scoff at. Love the treadmill workout! I found out this week that my treadmill tolerance is apparently much higher than I previously thought, haha!
That workout looks fun! I better save this post.
It’s so bizarre to see all that snow out East when usually, we’re chest deep in it here. We’ve had a combination of freezing cold followed by unseasonable warmth so we hardly have any white stuff.
Looks like a great workout! I always get so bored on the treadmill, so workouts like these are helpful!
What a fantastic workout! I’m not a dreadmill gal, I just don’t have time to add the walk to and from the gym to get to a tradmill on my lunch so I was wondering if there was a pace conversion for this same workout so I can do it outside? PS – I hope MiniE is better now!
thr treadmill has been my go-to with this terrible weather we have been having in Delaware. I am registered for a local 10-miler on Sunday! Excited for my first race of 2015 and to run one of the local races I had in mind when setting my goal of running all localish races this year! Good luck if you run your race and hope the little girl feels better!
