ActivMotion Bar Review + A Video Testimony You Won’t Want To Miss

February 3, 2015 2 Comments

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I was provided the ActivMotion Bar as part of a SweatPink Campaign but all opinions are my own.

You’ve heard of resistance training, you’ve heard of high intensity training (HIT) but have you heard of Disruptive Training?

Disruptive Training utilizes the body’s experience of an unstable disruptive training stimulus and is the science behind the Active Motion Bar.  Disruptive Training progresses people through three phases of training, with the end results being increased core strength, improved mind-muscle activation and awareness, and smart muscles that will protect and perform.    Learn about Disruptive Training here.

ActivMotion Bar and Disruptive Training

I have been playing with and adding the ActivMotion Bar to my workouts for the past few weeks.  It has been interesting because it is just so different.  I did the DVD’s that came with the bar and they were very informative however, they were a little slow in ramping up to a workout that had my heart rate up.  They were enough to give me some ideas how I could incorporate it into some of my normal activities.

You can see some of these modifications in this “invaluable” clip.  Yes it’s four minutes long but I think you’ll find it entertainingly useful.

Did you like that? I thought about trying t record again but this just made me smile.

Ok, so would I recommend you purchase the ActivMotion Bar?

Yes, but I would think about what weight to get.  If you’re use to lifting heavier you might consider getting the 10 or even the 18 pound bar.  Check out the options here.

Like the idea of shaking up my workouts with the @activMotionBar @FitApproach #ActivMotionBar

I love my ActivMotion Bar but definitely think I need a heavier weight! The 6lbs was a bit light for me on most exercises.
