Earlier this week I told you about some of the ways you can focus on Body and Mind in St. Louis. The campaign is a great program from Alive Magazine and not only does it aim to inspire St. Louisians to get fit but it helps to promote the local businesses that you there.
Then Thursday I got a call asking if I would take the message to TV with Lindsay Pattan (Heartland Underdog). It’s always hard to try to squeeze in a TV segment with a full-time job but sometimes it just works out. Today was one of those days. A morning with no meetings gave me just enough time to run downtown, wait 30 minutes, snoop around the KSDK studio, do a 3 minute segment then rush back to work.
And Yes, the anchors are SOO nice. I mean check out Pat McGonigle for example. He offered to take this picture then we found ourselves talking about running. He even introduced me to a the Sandmine Challenge on February 21st. If we weren’t going to be skiing I would totally do it. I can’t wait to go back!
My role in the segment was to share three fitness moves you can do at home as well as model some of the amazing Lorna Jane active living clothes you can get at Dimvaloo.com or at their store in St. Louis on Ladue Rd.
These clothes are nothing short of awesome. What you can’t see in this picture is the bra and top. You have to see this top so use the link below to view it. It’s adorable and will be so fun at the gym.
- Concentric 7/8 Capri – Shop
- LJ Striped Seamless Bra – Shop
- Flirt S/SLV Top – Shop
- Coco Zip Through Jacket (yellow) – Shop
You can also see the gear in action in the segment right here! You know, I’ve done a few segments now and I don’t think it’s possible NOT to be nervous. It’s a good thing that Dimvaloo let me keep these clothes because I’m a nervous sweater and she would NOT want them back.
So check out Dimvaloo’s selection of Lorna Jane and if you want to see what else St. Louis has to offer runners check it out here.
