High Five Friday

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Grab your glass…(of coffee if you’re reading this in the AM.  Wine if it’s past breakfast time), raise it high and toast to the weekend.

<<CHEERS>>

Ok, let’s talk about what’s going on lately.  I hope you enjoyed this week’s tutorials (Instagram/Periscope).  I have had a lot of fun sharing all these tips.  I feel like if we can keep educating each other, the better we’ll be as a group and I love that!

I’m also really trying to focus on quality posts not quantity.  Life just doesn’t allow for constant posts.  When you come visit me, I want you to feel like we’re connecting.

RockNRoll_Mile10

Did you know Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis is 12 weeks away?  Officially that’s my next race.  I’m contemplating following a training plan.  I honestly haven’t really followed one this year but right now, I feel like I could benefit from the structure.  The question I’m contemplating is should I just create my own, like I’ve done before or try one that’s been developed or a hybrid?  If you’re thinking about running Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis, I urge you to do it!  Come out and hang with me and see St. Louis at it’s finest.    Sign up now with code: MomsLRB for $15 off.

Did you also know that I have been really fortunate lately to love my job?  Yes, there are frustrations and challenges but all around, between the people and the work, I’m just feeling lucky.  What do  I do?  Well, let’s just say I manage a LOT of real estate for a large company.

How are the kids?  They are good, thanks for asking. 🙂  We are finishing up a second round of t-ball with E who seems to be really loving it this time around.

Baseball Picture

He and MiniE are doing swimming lessons together at the Y and I’m so happy to see he’s finally not just feeling comfortable in the water but he’s really taking to it.  It’s reassuring.  Meanwhile, MiniE still doesn’t have a fear in the world.  She jumps in without a second thought..talk about scary.

Nap Time

MiniE is doing her thing.  She’s REALLY into books right now…to the point where she’s negotiating with me nightly about how many books we read before bed.  Right now, she’s got me up to 6.  How many books do you read your children?

Life right now feels a little slow…like lazy summer slow and that is JUST fine by me.  I hope our weekend includes TONS of outside.

How was your week?  Are you racing this weekend?  What are your plans?
