If you all follow me on IG or Snapchat, you’ll catch a glimpse now and then of my kids; neither of which are hurting when it comes to their hair.
MiniE pretty much arrived on the scene with a full head of hair and that hasn’t changed. From your spot on the interwebs, it probably looks pretty nice. Long flowing locks and all but to a mom, that hair is a nightmare. She hates for me to wash it, let along comb it. Knots are never ending. The typical baby shampoo will no longer do it for her. She needs seriously conditioning.
That’s why when SoCozy asked if I wanted to try their product, I had to take them up on it. I needed serious help and fast!
I had seen it a couple times and was intrigued. Could it do the trick? Could it tame the mop that is her hair? Before I tell you more about how it performed, let me tell you a little more about SoCozy.
It was created by Cozy Freidman (I know, cool name). It’s non-toxic, and made without parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol. Free of alcohol, gluten, wheat, peanuts and tree nuts. It’s smart, safe, easy and cool.
We went to CVS to grab it and the kids were instantly drawn to the bottle design. I know, it’s a detail but when you’re kids are excited about buying shampoo than bathtime is sure to be a little more pleasurable. Their product line is extensive with a Shampoo/Body Wash in one, a conditioner, a detangler and lice prevention products. We bought the first three.
I LOVED that I didn’t have to switch bottles between cleaning and shampooing. You can pretty much squirt some on their heads and wash all the way down. It’s got a great clean scent…none of the fruity stuff (no offense other companies but I don’t want my kids smelling like bubblegum). At 5, E’s pretty much bathing himself (with a little supervision) and he had no problems getting clean. MiniE’s maine required a little more love so we used the conditioner as well. After my babies were scrubbed, we started in with bedtime and the thing I dread the most…combing MiniE’s hair. This time it was pain-free. I used a little detangler on some of the ends to try to keep it that way at least for the morning.
The other little detail about this product that I loved is that the detangler spray bottle is easy to use…perfect for little hands. MiniE loved spraying it on herself (or in my eye a couple times…good thing it’s safe!).
Will I keep using it?
I can say, without a doubt, I’ll keep using the detangler and conditioner.
Where can you get it?
Now it’s available at CVS so it’s within running distance of just about all of us. 😉
