New Balance has been part of our lives for a long time. Growing up, it’s the only sneaker I saw my dad wear. Then when E was born and started walking, it was the only brand we could find that had a shoe that would fit his extra wide foot comfortably. In fact, it lead to years of him ONLY wearing New Balance. I have the drawer of old shoes to prove it. 🙂 That love of New Balance spread to my brother’s kids and of course us.
So when the newest version of the classic 990 (New Balance 990v4) came out and New Balance wanted to send some to the kids, I really wanted to say:
I’ll take them in EVERY size
but what I did say is
Thank you, that’s cool
It was about that same time that I realized that I needed to do this shoe the justice that it deserved. Taking my own pictures wouldn’t do that. So I called my friend and FANTASTIC photographer Ashley Kuenstler to help me get some shots. It worked out because I have another product to show you too so we worked them both in (you might catch a glimpse of it if you look carefully).
We set a date and time and headed to a place that’s as classic St. Louis as the New Balance 990v4 is to shoes…Tower Grove Park. If you EVER come to St. Louis, you have to make your way south to my neck of the woods and check it out. Beautiful park that was formalized as a park in the late 1800’s.
So back to the shoes…your kids will be the “cool kid” in class in these shoes.
So seriously…how cute is the pink? I LOVE them.
E loves these shoes and they have got him wanting to learn to tie shoes so he can keep wearing them.
The New Balance 990v4 is available in kids and adult sizes. I LOVE them too and lounge in them just about everyday. In fact, they are going to California with me! Oh and did I mention they are MADE IN THE USA?!! YES!!
So check them out, tell New Balance how much you love them and maybe get them to do the 990v4 in pink for ladies!
In the meantime, make sure you’re staying connected on twitter, IG and Snapchat as I take my adventures west!!
Do you wear New Balance? Don’t you just love these shoes? Aren’t the kids getting so big?
We were given these shoes but all opinions are my own.
