Damn I love fall! Seriously. Humidity is a thing of the past (mostly). Crisp mornings, evening bike rides and bonefires. Everything.
October is here my friends and fall racing is in full motion. I had a really good weekend of running. I’m not back to full strength but for the weekend I logged 10 miles. I’m looking forward to Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis in two weeks for so many reasons. First the people! I’m hearing that Sharpie might be making the trek from the west coast to run with me and I keep trying to get some of my other Southern Cal friends to come with. Not sure if I’ll get them but I’m super excited to see Linzie! This race is at the best time of year and has the best course in town! Rumor has it that I might be taking over the Rock ‘n’ Roll Snapchat too. I am so looking forward to showing you “the Lou”. We’re also planning a We Run Social Meet-up. If you’re planning to run the 5K on Saturday, plan to meet us at the starting line!
Not to mention that’s E’s birthday weekend so it will be full of family, friends and racing. That’s pure bliss to me!
So, without much else to talk about, lets just take a look at the weekend with a few fun pictures!
Ever since yoga at the Chase, I’ve been trying to work it in a couple times a week. Most of the time you’ll see I don’t do it alone which is ok. I love these moments.
I also did some running this weekend. Most of the miles were alone but again, I’m never without my shadow very long. Friday night she INSISTED that we go for a run. Who was I to argue?
We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. Yeah. The kids loved it. And I loved that they got rid of the ball pits, gross! If you have one in your area you should check them out. It’s changed quite a bit.
The kids are in the throws of soccer and it’s so fun to watch. Scott got them their own goal this weekend now all they want to go outside. I LOVE it.
Ok, there it is. Weekends rock. I just wish they were longer.
How was yours?
