It’s DECEMBER?! What?! When did that happen?! It feels like just yesterday, I was flying off to Fontana to reunite with some of my awesome running friends for the Fontana2SD Challenge or hosting a meet up for the small but growing social running community here in STL!
Where has the time gone? Well, enough reminiscing, it’s time to start planning! Ironman Chattanooga is only 24 weeks away! YIKES…so before I go into detail, watch training update #3 would ya?
Ok, so you just learned that I won’t be hiring a coach (too expensive). I won’t be replacing stella (again, too expensive) and I’m planning to start training next week. You might be saying to yourself…
Katie, you are crazy to start training in the middle of the holiday season!
To that I reply, yep, but I’ve always been a big believer in figuring it out. And what better way than to dive right in!
I have planned out weeks 1, 2 & 3, thanks to the help of the Essential Week-by-Week Training Guide. I’m sure I’ll be modifying some but let’s start with a pure plan of attack shall we?
I also, on the video, asked some questions. Would you be so kind as to go and see what they were and help me with answers, especially if you’re a triathlete, or someone that knows a lot about nutrition. 🙂 Thanks!
