Guys, I’m chomping at the bit. I’m so ready to be running again. It’s been almost a month since I’ve been running with any amount of consistency. It’s been pure torture (and pride) to watch you all racing this fall. CONGRATS!!!
So I’m counting down the days. The doctor told me not to expect to do much for two weeks. At this point I’m 9 days away from my first chance of sweating.
AND as if watching all the amazingness going down on social media weren’t enough to make envious, I also had my Lululemon Ambassador Orientation and that just added to my itch to move!
But it’s all good. I’m loving the feel of motivation and just can’t wait to expend it. But in the meantime, I’m doing a lot of thinking and planning and thinking and planning. So let me first tell you about the Lululemon stuff I learned at my orientation.
First off, this brand has defined Ambassador the exact way I feel like it should be defined. As a relationship. You get what you give. Both parties involved are in it to help the other out. They want to help me develop and I want to help them spread the message of the Sweat Life.
Have you seen the hashtag #TheSweatLife?
The Sweat Life is a holistic lifestyle that combines sweating, meaningful relationships and personal development.
I love it.
As an ambassador, I’m also looking forward to four things:
- Applying to be a pacer at SeaWheeze!! I found out that ambassadors serve those roles and you KNOW that’s one I’m going to be trying desperately to take advantage of.
- The Sweat Card. The Sweat card is something that employees get and I didn’t thing we would get but we do and I’m PUMPED! Lululemon basically pays for you to workout! Yes, the sweat card can be used to try different workouts around town or when you’re traveling. I can not tell you how excited this makes me! So give me the list of workouts you love and what city so I can add them to the list!
- The Greater Good. Over the course of two years of the ambassadorship, I’ll be pulling my thoughts together on a project to help the community with running being involved. I’ve done things in the past like Celebrate Fitness and loved being involved so the idea of pulling my own project together is really exciting.
- Being on their wall! If you’ve ever been in a store, you know the pictures I’m talking about. They are always so beautiful, capturing the person is just the right way, highlighting their love of running or yoga or whatever it is they are doing. If you come to Plaza Frontenac here in St. Louis in a couple months, you’ll see me! That is too cool.
So this might just be my most favorite brand partnership ever. I’m looking forward to taking it all in and I’ll take you along on the journey with me!
In the meantime, go out and run a few for me! I’ll be back to it soon!
That must be SO freaking awesome to see your big photo on the wall. The Sweat Card also sounds legit. Definitely apply to pace Seawheeze-it’s such an amazing race.
