So Stonyfield asked me to partner up to talk about something that’s really important to me…
Healthy Kids!
Keeping them healthy by staying active and eating right! Stonyfield is a HUGE part of that equation for me and I’m not the only one. I had the chance to interview Amy Rodriguez, forward for the US Women’s Soccer team and fellow mom of two (ages 1 and 4).
Talking to her was awesome! She and I agreed on 3 tips for getting your kids to eat healthy and I thought we would share those with you!
Lead By Example
This is the most important one of them all! Because at the end of the day, when they don’t know which decision to make, they are going to remember what mom and dad chose and follow suit!
Educate
We can’t assume that our kids know everything we do about the role food plays in fueling our bodies. It’s important to help them realize that the ingredients in our food serve a purpose and help our bodies run efficiently and safely!
Snack Smart
This is probably the hardest one for me but with Stonyfield solutions, the choices get a LOT easier especially when life has you running in a thousand directions. Amy loves to feed her kids Stonyfield Pouches and YoKids Yogurt and I have to say I agree! Every week, our grocery trip includes a restocking of Stonyfield products! They make me feel good as a mom, and the kids love them!
Everything Stonyfeld makes isn’t just delicious, it’s also made with certified organic ingredients. In a world full of choices, organic makes things simple because it’s always made without the use of artificial hormones, toxic persistent pesticides and GMOs.
I loved the conversation with Amy! It reminded me that no matter what kind of life you lead, the challenges we face as moms are all the same and that we should rally around each other and share what works because some day our kids are all going to be working together to lead us forward and I want your kids to be as ready for the challenge as mine!
