Can you feel fall in the air? Can you see the leaves change?
This is the time of year when it feels so good to be outside and if you’re like me, your fitness goals might change during the fall. You might slow down a little. Training for the next big race can wait till late winter early spring. I have one big half left to run in a couple weeks then I plan to recovery actively with my kids (because when you’re a parent, that’s truly the only type of recovery you get). Riding a bike might be one of the best ways to recover from a busy race season but it’s equally a great way to just enjoy being outside. Let the wind race through your hair and the sun on your face. Riding a bike makes me feel like a kid again. It’s fun! And when you have kids that enjoy their bikes, it’s fun to be able to share that joy together! Both of our kids have bikes and enjoy taking them out and now with my NEW Cannondale Quick, I now have a bike I can ride with them.

What kind of bike is the Cannondale Quick?
Well, technically it’s called a fitness bike but my explanation is that it’s the bike you get when you want to cruise around town, hit some paved trails and generally stay active.
The person riding this bike is going to be fun loving, easy going, and into enjoying the world around them, whatever scene that plays out in. The Cannondale Quick is also priced appropriately. There are different models of the Quick to suite your needs and wants!
The Cannondale Quick would make an excellent Christmas gift for those interested in experiencing their world on wheels while maintaining that fitness goal they set in the beginning of the year!
I got the Cannondale Quick 8 and I bought my husband the Cannondale Quick 7. They are so awesome and I love that we both now have one (it’s only been 10 years in the making). I’m looking forward to taking them back to Southern Illinois and riding the Shawnee National Forest. I’m looking forward to taking them out west and riding the Katy Trail but what I’m really really looking forward to is the time on the driveway and in the neighborhood between soccer practices and school when we can just go have genuine fun together as a family OUTSIDE!
We have busy lives but making time for fun like this is SO important to. The kids have grown up seeing us as parents contribute to our own fitness but with bikes like these, we as a family can create fitness traditions TOGETHER and that will be something we all can enjoy for a lifetime to come! It’s amazing how excited they get when I tell them to grab their helmets we’re going for a ride and secretly I’m just as excited as they are to get outside!
