This post is sponsored by Sunkist, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Summers use to be somewhat lazy. The kids were younger. There weren’t multiple sports schedules and camp schedules to schedule. Life meant work, and evenings cooking and playing in the yard. Now it’s as crazy as the school year.
When I think about the nutrients that I’ve been focused on ensuring my family is getting, honestly, vitamin C hasn’t been high on the list. I guess I felt that inherently we were getting what we needed but when I started really looking at what we were eating, vitamin C wasn’t well represented.
Why is vitamin C so important?
I started researching vitamin C and it’s benefits during this work and I was surprised to find out that there are so many more benefits than I was even aware, check these out:
- May protect against cardiovascular disease
- May help boost collagen formation
- May support the healthy maintenance of healthy bones, skin, and teeth
It really is an essential nutrient and this recipe will help make it easy and delicious to add to your diet.
